Push me to face the menacing sunlight.
My shadow is your sanctuary.
Leave me to suffer relentless lashes of rain.
Take refuge in my hollow body.
If you will look up you can see.
I have breakable bones,
And they stretch my seasoned skin.
Oh will you look inside me please?
I anger the Gods for ugly weather,
And you will hold my hand a little longer,
Before you toss me into a concealed corner,
And move on as it gets brighter.
